Salam!
Surprisingly enough this little beautiful boutique is located in Sydney cbd.
The things they sell, I felt obligate to buy their whole shop. (Only if I could). ^_^
As I was walking out of the bank today, it had those spinning doors. And a very elderly man was trying to enter the bank via these doors with his walking cane. Due to the spinning doors, his foot slipped perhaps he had a black out and he fell face first on the floor. His cane fell in one direction and his hat on the other. I felt soo sorry for him. I ran towards him to try and help him get up. (I know how hard it is for elders to get up once they are setting on the floor, I have my grandmother. And she is getting weak by day. God, I love her. God forbid if something happens to her.. I can’t bear the thought).
As I ran towards this elderly man, few others noticed his fall and came to aid. As I was trying to help him get up, I could see his shaky arms and his pale face. And the helplessness in his face.
At that moment I was struck with the thought of how helpless we are in the end. No matter how much we take this life for granted and fill ourself with pride in our appearance, in the end it deceives us to thinking that this world is our permanent haven. It often misleads us, fills us with arrogance.
Nothing lasts forever. In the end we will have to face our lord with all our deeds and doings in this world.
Once the old man was on his feet with help of two other man. I gave his cane and another lady his hat. The look of confusion and fear in his eyes.
How weak are humans towards our lord who gave us life, youth, health and everything that we need to be grateful for.
At that moment I was fighting with my tears reflecting on my own life.
Ya Allah forgive me and my ignorance. Ya Allah never abandon me. I have no other helper beside you. Ya Rab keep us in the straight path. Help us with our daily struggles.
